Toronto FC attacker Lorenzo Insigne says he'd happily play for Italy again.

Insigne says he's available for Euros selection.

He said, "As long as I play football I will always be available to the coach, as I have always told him too, because the national team is the national team, it is a special shirt. I then experienced an indescribable moment with this shirt that I will never forget, the European Championship victory.

"I will definitely start strong again next year, hoping not to have too many injuries again. I repeat, the coach's choices certainly had a huge impact. I know that I have to do more even at 32 years old, because just having a name is not enough to be called up, but you always have to prove it and deserve it on the pitch."

On former club Napoli, Insigne added: "As a fan I may even be biased, I know it's difficult, but I hope with all my heart that Napoli wins. Now there are many points of difference from the leaders, but at the moment I don't really see a 100% favourite. I just hope that Napoli continues to be the same as last year and moves up the rankings."
