Aston Villa defender Pau Torres believes he can realise his ambitions at the club.

The Spanish centre half arrived in the summer to be reunited with old boss Unai Emery.

Torres, who was a Manchester United target for many years, believes he can win three competitions with Emery.

"I would love to be able to win a title with Aston Villa," Torres told Relevo.

"As a player, winning another title with another club would bring me something very positive.

"It is the job that Unai wants to get in this period of time that he wants to lead this club. It is something that we must try to achieve, whether it is something at the European level or something at the level of England.

"The league is very difficult, but the cups, the FA Cup, are something that is very exciting here in England. We live with a lot of tradition and the club's objective should be that, to fight in the League but try to get a title that it hasn't achieved in a long time and that would be something very positive."

He added: "Hopefully I can win the three competitions with Unai. At the moment we already have a Europa League, this year we are focused on the Conference and seeing what the future holds for us. But, I wish, winning the three competitions with Unai would sign him anywhere."
