Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has a reputation of working with young players and turning them into first-team players.

And he has shown in his short time at Spurs that he is not afraid to give the youngsters a chance.

Quite a few academy players have been given opportunities to be involved with the first team this season, including Ashley Phillips, Alfie Dorrington, Alejo Veliz, and Jamie Donley.

Ange has now given another promising talent from the Lilywhites’ youth setup, Mikey Moore, the opportunity to train with the first team, highlighting the club’s focus on nurturing young prospects.

He was made unavailable for the U18 game and was spotted training with the seniors instead.

Mikey Moore is a sensational talent

The 16-year-old Englishman has been in scintillating form for the Tottenham U18 side, boasting an impressive record of 16 goals and 9 assists in just 14 appearances across all competitions this season.

Moore’s outstanding performances have not gone unnoticed, with his talent earning him a call-up to the England U17 squad, where he made significant contributions in the UEFA European Championship Qualification.

Manchester City had previously expressed interest in Moore during the January transfer window, a testament to the teenager’s burgeoning reputation and potential.

As Moore continues to impress on the field, Tottenham Hotspur remain committed to providing opportunities for their academy graduates to flourish at the highest level, reinforcing their dedication to developing homegrown talent.
