Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has won 21 trophies as a manager since 1998.

He has led South Melbourne, Brisbane Roar, Yokohama F. Marinos and Celtic to silverware during his club management career.

Postecoglou has also won international titles with Australia at U17, U20 and senior level.

But Postecoglou's current team, Tottenham Hotspur, have not won a major trophy since 2008.

Postecoglou's best chance of ending Tottenham's silverware drought this season will likely come in the FA Cup.

Spurs will start their FA Cup campaign with a home game against Burnley on Friday.

Postecoglou was asked by a journalist ahead of that match: "Do you ever picture yourself winning trophies?"

His response was classic Big Ange. "I've got real pictures, mate. There's quite a few of them, mate. I just look at the ones I've got, mate."

The press room was then filled with laughter before the journalist continued: "You're lucky enough to be able to do that but..."

Ange hit back: "No, I've earned them. I'm not lucky."

The reporter then said something about photos on ceilings, before asking if Postecoglou was inspired by looking at pictures of himself lifting silverware.

He tried to add more context to his question by mentioning the common debate about whether finishing fourth in the Premier League is a bigger achievement than winning the FA Cup.

"I get that, but I love winning, mate," Postecoglou replied. "That's all I've done my whole career. I don't say that dismissively, that I've got pictures.

"No, I don't have them on my ceiling, mate, as you suggested. But that's what drives me. Every year, I start the year hoping that at the end of the year there is a picture of me with a team lifting a trophy.

"That's what I've tried to do my whole career and I've got plenty of evidence of that, so that's why my intent is here. It's not something that I have to visualize. It's what I do."
