Tottenham are closing on a deal for Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba.

The Daily Star says an agreement between the two clubs are close for the centre-half.

A source reports Spurs are to sign Tapsoba for 25m.

Spurs have already converted Dejan Kulusevski's loan from Juventus into a permanent transfer, while a deal has been struck for Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

Now Tapsoba is a step away from becoming a third addition in a week.
