Tottenham Hotspur could sanction the departure of Richarlison in the summer.

The North London club are looking to make major signings in the upcoming transfer window. Ange Postecoglou’s side could look to reinforce almost every area on the pitch which will require significant funds. As a result, they are ready to offload a few of their first-team players who are surplus to requirements.

According to a report from Football.London, Tottenham could even look to sanction the departure of Richarlison in the summer. While he is an integral part of their first team, a lucrative offer could tempt the North London club.

Spurs forked out a significant fee to sign Richarlison from Everton back in the summer of 2022. While he has done a decent job, the Brazilian international hasn’t really reached the heights everyone expected him to.

In his 63 outings, he has contributed towards 21 goals (14 goals & 7 assists). The 26-year-old striker has featured in 28 matches and has racked up just over 1,600 minutes of first-team football this season. Despite that, he has found the back of the net on 11 occasions and also has three assists to his name.

The Brazilian forward has done a reasonably good job this term but Spurs need a prolific goalscorer and it’s no surprise that they would be tempted to sell him.

Richarlison has been subject to constant interest from Saudi Pro League clubs and if they knock on Tottenham’s door with a lucrative offer, Spurs could look to accept it.

Tottenham need to improve their squad if they want to do well in the Champions League and the proceeds from Richarlison’s departure will boost their transfer budget significantly.
