Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Torino wide player Raoul Bellanova.

According to a report from Torino Granata, a number of clubs are keen on signing the 23-year-old and Tottenham ‘have contacted the player’s agents’ regarding a potential move at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old can operate as a winger as well as a full-back on the right. He could prove to be a quality alternative to Emerson Royal next season. Bellanova has established himself as a reliable performer in the Italian league and he’s good enough to make the step up tp the Premier League as well.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can get the deal done. They will face competition from Premier League rivals, Manchester United. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford and the Red Devils will have to bring in a quality alternative.

Bellanova is likely to be attracted to the idea of playing in the Premier League as well. It would be a major step up in his career and he would get to test himself at a high level.

Spurs need more quality and depth in their squad if they want to compete for major trophies and Bellanova would be a quality acquisition. He has chipped in with five assists across all competitions this season. The 23-year-old is likely to improve with coaching and experience. He has all the tools to develop into a quality player for the North London club.
