Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze.

A report from Fichajes claims that Tottenham have ‘set their sights’ on the 25-year-old winger and they could look to make a move for him in January.

Eze is not the only Crystal Palace player they are looking to sign in January and Tottenham are monitoring Marc Guehi as well. Tottenham signed the likes of Micky van de Ven and Ashley Phillips during the summer transfer window in order to improve their defensive unit. They could use more quality at the back and Guehi would be a superb acquisition.

The former Chelsea player has proven his quality in the Premier League with Crystal Palace and he is certainly good enough to play for the top clubs. A move to Tottenham would be a significant step up in his career. His arrival would also sort out the Spurs defensive unit for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Crystal Palace winger has established himself as a reliable attacker in the Premier League and will add creativity and goals to the attack. Players like Richarlison have been underwhelming this season and Spurs need more depth in the final third.

Eze is versatile enough to operate as a winger as well as a central attacking midfielder. He could prove to be a quality acquisition for the North London outfit. The 25-year-old is well-settled in the Premier League and he could make an instant impact if the transfer goes through in January.
