Tottenham Hotspur are interested in acquiring the services of RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo.

The North London club are looking to reinforce their attack ahead of next season as they look to compete with the very best teams. According to Bild, Spurs ‘have their eye’ on Spanish international Dani Olmo.

Ange Postecoglou has had a great start to life in London and now he is looking at ways to take his team to the next level. They are expected to heavily invest in their attack and Leipzig’s Olmo is one of their targets. His versatility could be a great boost for them. He will help provide support to James Maddison and can even feature on the flanks.

The 25-year-old might have struggled with injuries in the ongoing season but he still has impressive numbers. In his 20 outings, he has contributed towards 11 goals in less than 1,300 minutes of first-team action.

Dani Olmo set to leave RB Leipzig

While he is in red-hot form and still has over three years left on his deal, the report suggests that these could be his final months in Germany.

There is a €60m release clause in his current deal and an interested club could trigger it. While Spurs are keen on his signatures and have the needed financial strength, they will have to convince him about their project with Manchester City set to rival them in their pursuit.

Manchester City have the 25-year-old on their wishlist as well. With Pep Guardiola at the helm and their on-pitch success in the recent past, they be an attractive destination. Moreover, the Manchester-based club have a good relationship with RB Leipzig following the Josko Gvardiol deal last year.
