Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush.

According to a report from BILD via Sport Witness, Tottenham are long-term admirers of the 25-year-old striker who has been in impressive form this season.

The Egyptian has 15 goals and six assists across all competitions. His performances have attracted the attention of Premier League giants Liverpool as well. Tottenham need to replace Harry Kane adequately after refusing to replace him in the summer.

Marmoush could prove to be a quality addition. Apart from his ability to find the back of the net, the 25-year-old is a hard-working striker who will drop deep and help out in the midfield as well.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can beat the competition from Liverpool and secure his signature. Initially the striker was valued at £26 million, but Frankfurt have now raised their demands to £43 million given his recent performances.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to pay the asking price for the Egyptian. A move to the Premier League will be an exciting opportunity for Marmoush and he will look to test himself at a high level. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Tottenham need to bring an a quality striker who can lead the line for them and score goals regularly. Son Heung-min and Richarlison have done an impressive job so far, but they are not recognised goalscorers and Tottenham must look to solve that issue in the summer.
