Tottenham Hotspur are intensifying their search for attacking reinforcements ahead of the summer transfer window, with Swedish forward Viktor Djukanovic emerging as a potential target for the Lilywhites.

Johan Lange, Tottenham’s technical director, has been closely monitoring Djukanovic’s progress at Hammarby IF for over a year and is eager to bring the talented left-winger to North London.

Despite interest from other top European clubs such as Lazio, Club Brugge, and PSV, Spurs remain determined to secure the services of the Montenegro international, who has impressed with 2 goals and an assist in 9 appearances this season.

According to a report from the Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt (via Sport Witness), Tottenham are still actively pursuing the left-winger and might attempt to sign him in the summer.

The report claims that Spurs were interested in him in the past and are ‘still in the picture’ to secure his services.

While Lazio made an unsuccessful bid of €8.6 million in the January transfer window, Hammarby are reportedly seeking a fee between €12.9-17.2 million for Djukanovic’s services.

With Tottenham pursuing the 20-year-old forward, the summer transfer window could see Djukanovic make a move to the Premier League club as they seek to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming campaign.

The 20-year-old is under contract with the Stockholm-based club until December 2027.

However, with such interest from potential suitors, Djukanovic could potentially depart this summer.
