Tottenham Hotspur have already started drawing up plans for the summer transfer window and a report from Football Insider has revealed their priorities.

The report states that Tottenham want to sign a striker at the end of the season and they will also prioritise a move for the Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.

The 24-year-old has established himself as a key player for Nottingham Forest since joining the club and he is certainly good enough to play for the top teams in the country. A move to Tottenham will be a major step up for him and he might be able to compete in the UEFA Champions League with Tottenham next season.

The North London outfit are currently pushing for a top-four finish. They need more creativity and technical ability in the final third. The 24-year-old Nottingham Forest midfielder is versatile enough to operate as a winger as well as the central attacking midfielder. He will add goals and creativity to the side. His versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham.

His style of play could be the ideal fit for Tottenham’s current system and he has recently been labelled as a ‘postecoglou player’.

Morgan Gibbs-White will fancy Tottenham move

The 24-year-old will certainly want to take the next step in his career and join a big club. The opportunity to play for Tottenham can be hard to turn down. In addition to that, Nottingham Forest have a very real chance of going down the season and Gibbs-White will want to stay in the top flight.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can secure an agreement with Nottingham Forest at the end of the season. Meanwhile, it is no surprise that they are looking at a quality striker. They chose not to replace Harry Kane at the start of the season and they have had to rely on Son Heung-min and Richarlison for goals. They need a reliable finisher in the summer and it will be interesting to see who they end up with.
