Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers and they will face competition from Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Newcastle United.

A report from Football Insider claims that the player wants to join a club in the Champions League if he leaves this summer. Spurs will have to finish in the top four if they want to sign the 24-year-old winger at the end of the season.

Neto wants to test himself at the highest level and he does not wish to sign for a club without Champions League football next season. Tottenham are currently well-placed to finish in the top four and it remains to be seen whether they can finish the season strongly.

Neto has established himself as a top-quality winger in the Premier League and he could add a new dimension to the Tottenham attack with his explosive pace and trickery. The winger has three goals and 11 assists across all competitions this season.

Wolves are reportedly open to selling the player if their £60 million valuation is met. The Molineux outfit will have to comply with the financial regulations and they need to raise funds and balance the books in the summer.

Neto will feel that he needs to take the next step in his career right now and joining a big club will be a top priority for him. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can beat the competition from their Premier League rivals and secure his services.
