Barcelona Atletic forward Pau Victor has been in impressive form this season, and is leading the scoring charts in Primera RFEF with 17 goals. The Blaugrana could look to make him part of their money-making transfer market this summer.

Arriving on loan from Girona, Victor has been one of the key reasons that Rafael Marquez’s side have secured a play-off spot, and Barcelona have an option to buy Victor for €3m should they choose to do so. The feeling in Can Barca is that they will do so, and Sport say they will plan to sell him immediately.

Victor’s form has earned him a number of suitors, and the Catalan daily say that AZ Alkmaar are very interested in him, and have enquired about his availability. Feyenoord and Ajax are also interested, but do not see him as a priority. They also note that if Atletic were to win promotion to Segunda, he would have been keen to remain, but Barcelona’s intentions may could be otherwise.

While Barcelona have generally placed more emphasis on Atletic players being developed for the first team, other major clubs tend to do a much better job of making a profit on their young players, albeit Victor is not theirs yet.
