It’s matchday for Chelsea in a huge derby clash – but that doesn’t stop the transfer rumour mill.

In fact, today Fabrizio Romano has dropped a triple update for us.

The talks over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are apparently continuing, as as those for Wesley Fofana. Both of those deals seem to be on track, and could well be done by the time we play our next game in a week’s time. There’s “direct contact” in both situations.

There’s no update on the Frenkie de Jong situation, which hints to us that that unlikely deal may be dead.

There is however good news about Cesare Casadei, the young Inter talent we’ve been linked to repeatedly in the last few weeks. Romano says that we will “try again” with a “new bid” to prise away the Primevera talent to add to our impressive summer spree of teenagers.
