Tuttosport reports that Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri won’t resign at the end of the season, especially if the Bianconeri win the Coppa Italia and qualify for the Champions League, so the club will have to sack him if they want to part company.

Allegri is unwilling to resign as Juventus head coach having a contract expiring in June 2025 and being in the race for all the targets this season, reports Tuttosport.

At the beginning of 2023-24, the Bianconeri’s main targets were to qualify for the Champions League and win the Coppa Italia. The club also requested to include at least three NextGen players in the first team, which Allegri did this season.

However, according to Tuttosport, the Italian tactician is no longer part of Juventus’ plans for 2024-25. Allegri is aware of it but is not considering resigning, especially if the Bianconeri fulfil all their targets this term.

Tuttosport describes the club’s environment as ‘electric’, given that Juventus must pay circa €20m to end Allegri and his staff members’ contracts one year in advance.

Director Cristiano Giuntoli will sit down with Allegri at the end of the season to make a final decision about this future and potentially negotiate a payout for the 56-year-old coach.
