Breaking news this afternoon suggests that Chelsea could now be without their star player when they face Arsenal in the Premier League tomorrow night.

As they always do, the club have released the latest list of injuries before Mauricio Pochettino’s pre-match press conference for their game against The Gunners tomorrow, and there is some awful news.

To start with, Ben Chilwell has been added back onto the injury list once again and he only came on as a sub in the last match against Manchester City, he didn’t even start! He is one of the most injury prone players I have ever witnessed and really, Chelsea should just look to cash in at this point.

Another full back, Malo Gusto is also proving to be a player who gets a few injuries and he has rejoined the injury list that Chelsea have put out today.

There isn’t much detail, but the club have just said that both players are undergoing medical assessments.

But perhaps what is even more annoying and frustrating than that, is that star man Cole Palmer is now a doubt for tomorrow night as well.

However, luckily it looks like he is not injured and is just suffering with an illness, and I guess there is still a chance that he might be recovered enough to play tomorrow night. Chelsea will miss him massively if he does not return in time to play this one as they have been heavily reliant on him for goals and assists this season.

Chelsea’s injury issues are becoming an absolute joke to be honest and are a complete farce. It’s easily been the worst season for injuries at Chelsea that I can ever remember, and I have been a fan for a very long time now.

It’s not good enough, and heads need to roll somewhere. There has to be fault and there has to be blame.

Back in March, we had just 7 first team players who had avoided injuries this season!
