Jadon Sancho is reportedly hoping to get back on the good books at Manchester United this summer and be granted another shot at proving himself in a red shirt.

The 23-year-old’s time at Old Trafford thus far has been nothing short of underwhelming and given that he set the club back an eye-watering £73 million in 2021, it’ll go down as another disastrous piece of business on United’s end if he fails to drastically turn his career around.

As it stands, all reports have suggested that Sancho’s January departure – while currently a loan move – marked the conclusion of his Red Devils spell. It came after his notorious, widely-covered fallout with Erik ten Hag, with both parties unwilling to bury the hatchet and make amends since things turned awry in early September.

Considering the feud remains unsolved, you’d expect that Sancho has no chance of ever playing under the Dutch manager again, however, United’s recent form, which has seen them sustain back-to-back league losses, has led to questions being raised over Ten Hag’s future in the dugout.

Sancho eyeing United resurgence

TeamTalk now claims that the winger is crossing his fingers over the prospect of ‘turning his career around’ when he returns to Manchester from Borussia Dortmund this summer and is keen to feature for United in their pre-season fixtures.
