Clyde 1 Superscoreboard is a brilliant forum for Scottish football fans to vent, conspire and otherwise deal with the madness of the game here. However, sometimes there can be comments from the callers (and pundits) that leave you utterly speechless.

With three league games to go, Celtic go into this weekend’s game three points clear and a win over Rangers would almost certainly take the title back to Paradise. Although, one caller used the phone-in last night to call Gordon Duncan and say that the Celtic support should be asking questions of their manager given the way that the title race has gone so far.

From around 1h07 to around 1h15, Rangers fan David in Carntyne called on Celtic fans to demand the sacking of Brendan as he believes the title should have been wrapped up long ago.

The caller wanted the Irishman to get more stick in the final run in as he was unhappy that the Celtic manager said that his team would have fun, which upset the Rangers manager Philippe Clement.

Glasgow Derby fever is clearly gripping the City in the build up and Simon Donnelly’s response was perfect. Rodgers has weathered a storm and dealt with a squad that was threadbare at various points to get the team into a position that they now lead the pack – despite Rangers having been favourites a month before.
