Valencia attacker Hugo Duro was left delighted with victory at Sevilla.

The win against the Europa League winners was a surprise for Valencia on the opening day of the LaLiga season.

Duro later said: "I'm happy, but we have to keep going. Last year we started with a win, and look at how we ended up. We need to learn and to take things game-by-game. We should use this as motivation.

"Winning is the best situation, and to do it at such a tough ground gives you a big morale boost. I hope it helps us to look up and to keep united and confident."

He added, "This team is all about intensity. Gozalbez ran 40 metres to recover a ball that seemed lost and I went across to help him. Javi Guerra finished well. The second goal shows what the team are all about."
