Valencia attacker Hugo Duro says they must learn from their home defeat to Osasuna on Monday.

Duro scored in the 2-1 Mestalla loss.

He lamented: "I think that to score points we have to give 200% and this time it took us a little bit more to get into the game. But, once again, the team has shown what it can do.

"We have to keep working hard. There is no other way.

"We put up a good performance, but we lost. I like to win. I would prefer to play badly and win every time. But that's the way it is. There is nothing bad we can say to the team. The work has been incredible. The second half was spectacular. But, we have to check the mistakes, keep improving and get the win against Alavs."

Of his goal, Duro added: "It's very important because of all the work behind it, not only mine, but also that of the coaching staff who work with me and give me that confidence that I try to put on the pitch. Finally, I've taken a big weight off my shoulders. Let's hope it gets better."
