Tottenham signed Swedish sensation Lucas Bergvall during the January transfer window.

The 18-year-old midfielder joined the north London club in a deal with around £8.5 million and he signed a long-term contract with them.

The Premier League club chose to loan him back to Djurgarden for the remainder of the season so that he can continue his development with regular football.

Bergvall will join up with his new club at the end of the season.

The Swedish midfielder is highly rated across Europe and he has a big future ahead of him. His performances have been rather impressive in recent weeks. The 18-year-old scored another important goal for his team in the Svenska Cupen semi-finals yesterday.

Djurgarden ended up winning the game on penalties and made their way to the final of the competition. Bergvall will now look to guide them to a trophy before leaving in summer.
