It was a quiet first half for Italy and Turkey as they open up the UEFA European Championship.
However, the first goal for the Italians finally came early in the second half when U.S. Sassuolo Calcio forward Domenico Berardi placed a cross into the box, and it went off Turkish defender Merih Demiral for an own goal as the defender tried to prevent the cross.
After having most of the possession, Italy finally makes due to take the 1-0 lead as they look to secure all three points.
