Villarreal midfielder Etienne Capoue admits the players fell out with former coach Quique Setien.

Setien was sacked a fortnight ago and replaced by Pacheta.

Capoue revealed: "Many things have come out in the news. But we are footballers and we have to do what the coach wants.

"The communication was not so good and that was noticeable on the field."

On Pacheta, he added: "Even though I play at right back I have to give everything for the team. The new coach has said that he wants to give the best position to each player to be able to give 100% the best performance.

"The truth is that we feel very good. He has brought his ideas and the ones he has I think we have them too. We are going together on the same path. With all the coaches there are many differences, they are all different.

"Now we look forward and we know that we have the quality to be able to play in the Champions League. We are going to go all out and we have everything to do so."
