Chelsea had got better and better in this game, but they still hadn’t created many chances, and given the spirit and fight we’ve seen from Porto, a one goal lead didn’t feel like it would be enough.

Thank goodness for Ben Chilwell then. The left back just burst forward from his usual position, took a brilliant touch to control the ball and then another to round the keeper. From there it was an open goal to finish in, giving Chelsea a lead that hopefully they can hold on to through the second leg.
