Leandro Paredes has reached 100 appearances with Paris Saint-Germain in their 4-1 victory over Club Brugge. Perhaps this is a coincidence, but the capital club uploaded a “Break Time” episode where supporters got to know more of Paredes.

One of the questions that the 27-year-old answered is over playing alongside Lionel Messi. Paredes plays with the former FC Barcelona star at the club-level with PSG and the Argentina national team.

“I appreciate all the moments we live together, whether it’s the national team or seeing him here with us in Paris, in the locker room, every day in training, and enjoying a lot things on and off the pitch. For me, this is something incredible. I enjoy every moment 100-percent,” Paredes said.

Messi arrived this past summer when he abruptly left Barcelona due to financial circumstances. A few days later, he was presented as the newest PSG player, and Paredes shared how he found about Messi’s arrival to the French capital.

“By message. We were with him on vacation two days before, and he had settled everything to renew his contract with his club (FC Barcelona),” Paredes said.

“And two days later, he wrote to us that that had changed, that he had the possibility of coming to Paris. So that was very, very good news for all of us. Until he signed, we were in the realm of whether he was coming or not, but we were very happy with his arrival.”
