Longtime Argentina national team forward Carlos Tevez is one of a few players that can say that they played with both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Tevez tagged along with Messi with La Albiceleste, and he featured alongside Ronaldo at Manchester United.

For the former Boca Juniors forward, he much enjoyed playing alongside both talents, which he spoke further about to ESPN Argentina.

“They are two greats,” Tevez said. “I felt comfortable with them both. I enjoyed both and learned from them. They are both out of the ordinary.

“With Cristiano, I lived the day to day and with Leo, it was with the national team. They are from another planet. They are still part of football’s elite and that is very difficult. It’s something to admire. You have to tip your hats off to those kinds of players.”

The likes of Angel Di Maria and Gonzalo Higuain sure can attest to Tevez’s comments about the two star forwards. They each also played alongside the two standout goal-scorers.
