The France national team is preparing to face Belgium in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals. However, the main talking point around the team is the interview Kylian Mbappé had with RMC Sport

Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez was asked about his thoughts regarding Mbappé, who has also had controversies with Les Bleus following the UEFA Euros where they would crash out in the Round of 16.

Despite all this controversy, Hernadez still holds the Paris Saint-Germain forward in high regard as he stated during his press conference with the French media.

“Kylian is a huge player, someone very close, everyone loves him. He is highly respected here in the France team,” Hernandez said.

“He is a very young player but he is already part of the executives of the France team. We’re all with him, we know we need him. He said that but I want him to know that he is a unique player, that we need him, and that we want to write other pages in the history of the France team with him.”
