Kyogo Furuhashi has scored an excellent goal on his first Celtic start. The Japanese forward, who signed from Vissel Kobe, took a glorious turn before dinking the ball over the advancing goalkeeper. The goal gave Celtic a 2-0 lead within the opening exchanges in the game in the Czech Republic.

Nir Bitton stepped out of defence before finding the 26-year-old between two defenders, who expertly made space for himself before doubling Celtic’s advantage against FK Jablonec.

It has been an impressive opening from Ange Postecoglou’s side and some of the football that has been played suggests that if the Australian can get the right personnel in the door, then we will be serious challengers this season.
