Giorgos Giakoumakis scored an excellent header for Greece this evening. Gus Poyet’s team won 2-0 against Kosovo with the Celtic striker sending a powerful header into the back of the net.
Giakoumakis’ impact on the second half of the season was imperative as he helped fire Ange Postecoglou’s team to the title. He finished joint-top scorer but will be hoping to go one better next season. Kyogo, Giakoumakis and Maeda will all be hoping to get their numbers up as they look to retain the Premiership as well as performing in Europe.
