Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Lille OSC in a 7-1 victory Sunday at the Stade Pierre Mauroy. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma did concede a goal, and while the score shows a convincing win, the Italian did face his share of shots.

In 90 minutes of action, the 23-year-old made eight saves, with seven coming from inside the box. After the match, Donnarumma spoke postgame, where the Ligue 1 YouTube channel relayed his remarks.

“We are very happy; we had a lot of fun,” Donnarumma said, per Canal Supporters. “I’m not happy with this goal conceded, but the most important thing is to have won. We played very well. We produced very good football.

“The performance of the attackers? Yes, we played very well, and we showed that we were very good offensively and defensively. The whole team showed great football; we have great players. We are working well, so it shows on the pitch, and we are very happy with that.”

Donnarumma and PSG expect to continue this dominance in French football next Sunday when the capital club welcomes AS Monaco to the Parc des Princes.
