Sky Sports Scotland have released the highlights from today’s game up at Perth in the cinch Premiership which saw Celtic overcome Callum Davidson’s St Johnstone side 4-1. The match was a routine performance in all honesty from the Hoops and ticked off another three points on our way to more domestic success this year.

Ange Postecoglou’s men have been on quite the purple patch at this moment in time, having went on a winning run in the Scottish Premiership and both domestic cups since our draw against Mick Beale’s side at Ibrox back at the beginning of January. It was a game we should have won but for an injury to Greg Taylor the a silly misjudement at the back from Joe Hart to give theRangers encouragement.

Since then, we have showed scary consistency in piling up points and wins both home and away, whilst booking our place in the Viaplay League Cup Final against our fierce rivals and overcoming Greenock Morton to make the Round of 16 in this year’s Scottish Cup. It’s been a relentless pursuit of more silverware on this team’s behalf and they don’t look like slowing down anytime soon.

Yesterday in Perthshire, the Bhoys were dominant as ever – showcasing at times just why they are nine points clear at the summit of Scottish football, with a goal difference that is the envy of everyone. Our star forward, Kyogo Furuhashi was just outstanding this afternoon and might have only been second in the Man of the Match Award but for another masterclass from Aaron Mooy.

Mooy has been nothing short of sensational since his return from the World Cup in Qatar and his ĺatest performances in a Celtic jersey have been an absolute pleasure to watch as a spectator. It took Aaron a while to get up to speed at the start of the season when he joined up with Ange and his teammates but slowly and surely he has reached the heights with the Scottish Champions.

Have a look back over the game today and drink in the tantalising football from this current Celtic team….
