Chelsea fans were begging for Ian Maatsen to get a chance at full back all season, but Mauricio Pochettino wasn’t having it.

It was clear that he would tear it up on his loan to Borussia Dortmund, and he grabbed a great assist in just his second start for the German giants last night. It was a full package move too – he nicked the ball with a well timed tackle, he sprinted his whole half of the pitch, then played a brilliant long pass to Donyell Malen, using the water on the pitch to hold the ball up.

It was a great overall game from Maatsen, and we’ve tracked down his highlights for you to see for yourself.
