Manchester City star Jack Grealish was absolutely PELTED with paper by the Leeds United supporters at Elland Road this evening.

Man City headed to Elland Road knowing that only three points would do after Liverpool defeated Newcastle United away from home in the day’s lunchtime kick-off.

As they usually do, City made light work of the contest and secured all three points.

Losing to City is no disgrace from Leeds’ perspective, after all, they are the Premier League champions. However, the Leeds fans were the ones not to cover themselves in glory on the day.

As Man City’s Jack Grealish walked over to take a corner for his side, Leeds supporters threw a barrage of paper at him from the stands. Have a look at the clip below.

It didn’t and couldn’t do any damage to Grealish, but that’s not really the point. There was children in shot throwing projectiles at a footballer, which cannot be encouraged.

We would be surprised if Leeds didn’t issue a rather strongly-worded statement in wake of this game…
