Matic will unite with former manager Jose Mourinho, who will sign the midfielder for a third time after previously bringing him to Chelsea and United.

An announcement is expected shortly once Matic completes his medical.

Leading journalist Fabrizio Romano claims Matic will undergo a medical today. He adds that he will sign for Roma on a one-year deal with an option for a further season.

We hope to see United replace Matic with a younger defensive midfielder.
