Conor Gallagher had great success on loan at Crystal Palace last season, and there was great desire from the Eagles – and other teams – to get him on loan again this year.

Chelsea so far have decided against it, wanting him in the first team squad to back up their main options.

That first weekend sat on the bench must have stung a little, and there are still 3 games to be played before the window closes. With the World Cup coming up, one would feel that if he doesn’t get a start before then, he will be pushing for a Palace return.
