Until he takes over as an analyst at Fox Sports, it appears Tom Brady is having fun traveling around. Well, traveling specifically to Madrid for the year’s most important and prominent game, the ‘El-Cassico.’

The seven-time Super Bowl champion couldn’t resist watching the grand game live in Madrid, where people from all across the world have been coming in. But in between the thrills of the soccer game, the NFL legend stole some sweet time away to re-live the days of his youth in the streets of Madrid.

The former NFL quarterback shared a video of himself riding an electric scooter and enjoying the view of the Spanish capital. With a persona as popular as Brady, there’s hardly a day where he can roam around unnoticed by the public. But in Spain, he surprisingly got those moments and he made sure to utilize them.

However, it also shows how much American football is localized, unlike soccer. Though Brady is considered one of the best athletes in the history of sports and is the winningest quarterback in the NFL, his fame isn’t as expansive as Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, for example. Nonetheless, it appears the legendary quarterback is having a great time in Spain and his Instagram is proof of that.

Tom Brady’s new chapter as Birmingham City F.C. stakeholder

Tom Brady’s interest in soccer isn’t something new and it peaked after he retired from the NFL in 2023. He became a minority owner of the English soccer club Birmingham City F.C. last year and also became a chairman of the advisory board of the club.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Brady has attended a soccer game. In 2022, he visited the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester to support Ronaldo and Manchester United. Ronaldo also went ahead and hugged Brady and clicked pictures together.

Now for the grand game between Real Madrid and Barcelona, the former NFL quarterback hasn’t sided with any team. But he might observe or learn something that he can implement at his English soccer club.
