Edinson Cavani has finally found a new club after leaving Manchester United as a free agent at the end of last season.

The 35-year-old has agreed to sign a two-year deal with Valencia (via BBC Sport) in a move that will see him fulfil his career long ambition to play in Spain.

Cavani didn’t sign in time to feature against Atletico Madrid in tonight’s 1-0 defeat, but he was still in attendance at the Mestalla Stadium.

The Uruguayan could make his debut against Getafe.

Cavani didn’t do anywhere near enough to warrant any praise during his last season at United. He hardly showed up and began to prioritise international football.

The Valencia fans will hope he doesn’t continue such bad conduct.

For that reason, you probably won’t hear United fans singing his chant again, unless we face Valencia over the next two years…
