For goalkeeper Keylor Navas, the 0-0 draw in the latest edition of Le Classique between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille didn’t see the 34-year-old do much, making one save.

Marseille had 15 shots, but only one being on target and nine being off-target. Following the match, Navas spoke to PSG TV and provided his analysis on the matter. The goalkeeper acknowledged that Marseille knew how to defend when limiting the capital club’s chance to secure a goal.

“We wanted to win; it was important for us,” Navas said. “In the first half, we were the team with possession of the ball and the one with the most chances to score.”

“And in the second half, the expulsion meant that we had to defend a little more. But in the end, the team knew how to defend and suffer when they had to. A point we take is not what we wanted, but we’ll take it, and that’s positive.”
