Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says he is expecting more from one of his new summer signings, a player that the club spent £115m to sign.

That is according to a report from The Daily Star, who have quoted the latest comments from The Blues boss ahead of today’s FA Cup quarter final match against Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.

The Argentine though, does also say that he has been impressed with a recent performance from Moises Caicedo, and says that he’s getting better and better. But he still expects more from the big money signing.

Pochettino said: “He’s getting better and better. We expect more. The performance against Newcastle was good but we’re going to put more pressure on him to get better and improve every day.”

I personally think Caicedo has been doing a real unsung job and has looked very good in recent games after taking a bit of time to settle in, which is completely natural.

But I don’t see it as a bad thing at all that the manager is asking more from him, and I do like to see the bar raised high for all the players.
