Daichi Kamada has started to grow increasingly unhappy at Lazio and could soon be on the way out of the Italian capital, reports suggest.

The 27-year-old Japanese midfielder left Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer this summer and seemed to be a step away from joining Milan before they switched focus elsewhere, leaving him in an awkward spot.

Kamada ultimately signed for Lazio, penning a one-year contract with an option for a further three years, giving him control over his future. He earns around €3m net per season in the Italian capital.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Kamada is unhappy with his lack of playing time under Maurizio Sarri recently, seeing a pitiful 100 minutes of Serie A action across his last six consecutive matches. He had started the first four games of the term before being benched for two games in late September.

The midfielder has already alluded to this unhappiness when speaking to the media recently, making it clear that he expects more regular playing time in the Italian capital.

Kamada had every intention of activating the three-year option in his Lazio contract but is now starting to have doubts after a tough few weeks, making a possible departure in the coming months a possibility.
