On Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain will strive to overturn a 3-2 aggregate deficit against FC Barcelona at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Following a disappointing loss in the first leg, the Parisian squad is eager to flip the script and come out on top.

A recent report from RMC Sport reveals that the PSG squad feels perfectly capable of reversing the deficit and making a comeback against Barcelona on Tuesday.

The club is optimistic about this possibility and behind the scenes, Luis Enrique has been convinced since the start of this tie that the qualification would be decided at the Montjuïc.

Furthermore, former PSG player Clément Chantôme believes that the Ligue 1 side can turn their situation around, but it will take playing the perfect match to do so.

“When you look at the dynamics of the [first leg], you think everything is still open for the return match,” Chantôme said (h/t Paris Fans). “I believe Paris can do it [and] will do it. But it will take a flawless performance to qualify.

“Even though the fans were disappointed with the result, most remained optimistic for the return match. And they will still be numerous and loud in Barcelona!”

It will be interesting to see if the Ligue 1 side can turn the situation around. PSG struggled on the road during the Champions League group stage but did perform well in the Round of 16 against Real Sociedad, so that’s the silver lining heading into a do-or-die match.
