Slavia Praha defender Tomas Holes was shown a straight red card after just 20 minutes in a Europa League match against Milan for a nasty foul on Davide Calabria.

The Czech side were reduced to ten men for the second consecutive match against the Rossoneri as their defender, Holes, received a straight red card for stamping on the Rossoneri captain Calabria.

Referee Glenn Nyberg was urged to the pitchside monitor to review the incident and, after a lengthy check, he decided to give the 30-year-old defender his marching orders.

It felt like a déjà vu moment for the Rossoneri and Slavia given that El Hadji Malick Diouf had been sent off after just 26 minutes in the first leg played at San Siro last week.

Holes received a straight red while Milan keeper Mike Maignan was leaving the pitch due to a knee injury he had suffered a few minutes earlier.
