Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario was left infuriated as a disappointing Tottenham fell in painful fashion to Fulham on Saturday evening.

Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs looked dire in their Premier League clash with the Cottagers, suffering a 3-0 loss after goals from Rodrigo Muniz and Sasa Lukic, a result that could be damning in their fight for a top four finish this term.

Vicario has continued to shine with Tottenham this season, regardless of the rest of the squad’s performance, and he did as well as he could against Fulham, making four saves across the 90 minutes to limit the damage.

Football London explained why Vicario was left so enraged as he helplessly watched Tottenham collapse against Fulham.

The Italian goalkeeper was unimpressed with the team’s defensive solidity, which allowed Alex Iwobi and Timothy Castagne to cause havoc on the down the right side of the pitch, with Destiny Udogie and Radu Dragusin both failing to provide adequate cover across the clash.
