World Cup 2022 Group F betting guide

Canada is in the World Cup for the first time in a generation. They might not make it out of group stage but more power to them. It makes an event like this feel a little new with some fresh blood.

Belgium has been an intriguing club internationally for some time. They were supposed to break through thanks to their "greatest generation" of talent, but it never happened. Or hasn't happened yet.

Croatia is not to be taken lightly and Morocco rounds up the group. This is neither the best nor the worst-looking collection of teams as they sit right now.

Group F

  • Belgium
  • Canada
  • Croatia
  • Morocco

The Favorite

Belgium: -163 to win the group, -600 to qualify.

Belgium is second in the FIFA rankings heading into the World Cup. I am not sure anyone would have them as the second most likely team to win it all though. They are quality but often disappoint.

The value on them taking the group is pretty good though.

The Contender

Croatia: +225 to win the group, -225 to qualify.

Four years ago Croatia was the surprise runner-up. They are not going to catch anyone by surprise this time around but four years older they are probably not as good.

Their values are good. This team could beat Belgium and easily earn the top spot in Group F.

The Pretenders

Canada: +1200 to win group, +300 to qualify.

Per the above, Canada is a nice story, having made it this far. They have a few players on the international stage, but not enough to break through just yet.

Morocco: +1000 to win group, +200 to qualify.

I would say Morocco is not really any better than Canada and the Canadians are probably more motivated. Even though the odds say that Morocco is the better squad I will look to fade them when these teams meet.
