Dutch winger Cody Gakpo has doubled his World Cup tally with a screamer against Ecuador.

The 21-year-old PSV winger has been linked to a host of European giants, most recently Manchester United and it is easy to see why. Dynamic and strong Gakpo showcased his goal scoring ability with his weaker foot in the opening ten minutes.

Erik ten Hag has already showed his preference for young players in the Eredivise, signing Antony, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia in the summer. Gakpo could soon be added to that list, he posses all the technical and physical qualities to thrive in the Premier League.

With the January transfer window just around the corner, it is hard to imagine him not getting a big money move after his international performances so far. With Manchester United in dire need of a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, he will surely be on ten Hag’s radar.
