Fode Ballo-Toure has become the latest AC Milan player to enter the treatment room after he sustained an injury in Saturday’s win over Bologna.

Ballo-Toure went down rolling in agony not long after Bologna had made it 2-2 at the Stadio Renato dall’Ara at the weekend, and it became apparent after replays that he was the victim of a nasty stamp from Soriano. After VAR review the midfielder was rightly sent off for the challenge but there was some surprise when Ballo-Toure played on after some treatment.

According to the latest from MilanNews, the Senegal international was not called up for the match against Torino due to the blunt trauma that his left ankle sustained in the challenge from Soriano.

We should know more information soon about the extent of the injury, with the hope being that it is simply heavy bruising rather than damage that could see him left out for longer.
