An exclusive report has claimed that one top winger is ready to move to the Premier League after recent meetings with Chelsea.
The news comes after Chelsea went down 2-0 against Newcastle United away from home on Sunday lunch time in a crucial game for the race for Champions League football next season.
Chelsea needed to win this game as much as Newcastle did, but a first half sending off by Nicolas Jackson did not help their cause. Enzo Maresca has admitted that Jackson now needs to learn from this situation moving forward.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher now believes that Chelsea have a big problem after this defeat with just two games remaining of the season and the reality being that The Blues need two wins to guarantee a place in the Champions League for next season.
Chelsea in for new wingers
The Blues are still being linked with new wingers for the summer transfer window, with players such as Jamie Gittens the one mentioned the most.
But there are also other players on Chelsea’s transfer shortlist, and one name that does not seem to go away is Nico Williams of Bilbao.
Williams to Chelsea still possible
According to an exclusive by TBR Football today, Williams’ people are insisting that the winger is willing to move to England this summer.
They also say that Williams remains uncommitted to this point, even if his camp are saying that a Premier League switch could happen.
And then finally, the report confirms that Chelsea have held recent talks with the player’s camp, leaving the door open to a potential move.
