The Italian national team is slated to kick off its Euro 2020 tournament run tomorrow with a group stage fixture against Turkey.

Italy national team manager Roberto Mancini has not made it all official, but Lazio forward Ciro Immobile may be in line to start in this matchup.

Immobile comes into the tournament with plenty to move, especially as he is yet to have a standout tournament showing for Italy.

Immobile is very much looking forward to his encounter with Turkey considering that fans will be allowed into the Stadio Olimpico. The Italian forward and his Lazio side played every home match this past season without fans, which must have been an unusual sight for the team over the campaign.

In speaking to the Italian-based station Rai 1 (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Immobile discussed his anticipation in seeing fans back at the Stadio Olimpico.

Tomorrow’s game will also be a little strange for us. There will be 20,000 people in the stadium, not a few. Then after a year in which you were used to playing in silence.

If you can hear it, you can feel the difference.

Immobile will surely aim to help lead Italy to a major win over Turkey.
