Parma will only sell Inter Milan linked defender Giovanni Leoni for €40 million, and won’t take any player-plus-cash bids.

This according to today’s print edition of the Gazzetta di Parma, via FCInter1908. They note, however, that the situation could change if Inter included Francesco Pio Esposito.

Inter Milan are keen to sign Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.

The 19-year-old has clearly emerged as Inter’s top target in defense for the summer transfer window.

Inter had already taken an interest in Leoni already last summer. And the season that he had at Parma has really solidified their interest – particularly his form under coach Cristian Chivu.

Parma Will Only Sell Giovanni Leoni For €40M – No Player + Cash Offers

However, Parma are not going to let Giovanni Leoni go for cheap.

Reportedly, the Emilian club want a fee of at least €40 million to sell the 19-year-old. And according to the Gazzetta di Parma, they are going to stick to that valuation.

Moreover, the newspaper anticipate, the Gialloblu would have little intention of lowering the price if there is a player going the other way as part of the deal.

That would include Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito, despite some recent rumours.

However, the situation could change if Inter were to put Sebastiano’s brother Francesco Pio Esposito on the table as part of an offer for Leoni.
